Nathaniel Mann is best know as 1/3 of experimental trio Dead Rat Orchestra. Rooted in folk traditions his music performances never fails to push boundaries and buttons. Effortlessly blurring genres and challenging audience preconceptions with a brutish arsenal of eccentric instruments and songs.
Mann has previously worked as Composer in Residence at the Pitt Rivers Museum (University of Oxford), there he created a series of events and new works in response to the museum’s spaces and collections. His project Pigeon Whistles was awarded the 2014 George Butterworth Award for Composition.
